Spartanburg Scholar Academy

The purpose of The Scholars Academy is to provide advanced learners with a quality education in a supportive learning environment.  Through partnership between Spartanburg County Schools and USC Upstate, the program allows students to take college courses at no cost and advanced high school classes over four years while still participating in classes and extracurricular activities at their own schools.

Applications are open to qualifying 8th grade students.

The Scholars Academy is for 8th grade students who are academically motivated and wish to take college courses while in high school.

To learn more about The Scholars Academy, parents and students who are interested should plan to attend one of the information sessions.  The sessions will be held at USC Upstate in the Campus Life Center Ballroom located on the 3rd floor.
