PSAT (Preliminary SAT)

What is SAT?  Scholastic Assessment Test

The Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) is a program cosponsored by the College Board and National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC).

The PSAT is a standardized test that provides practice for the SAT.  It also offers opportunity to enter in the NMSC scholarship programs and helps with accessing college information and career planning.

The PSAT/NMSQT measures:


Critical reading skills
Math problem-solving skills
Writing skills
